With the innovations and advancements of modern technology, many things became easier for us to do.  We no longer had to do math with pencil and paper when calculators could do it for us.  We could harvest crops with the assistance of powerful machinery, build huge structures with cranes and laser levels, let software automate entire corporate departments, and watch television with the signal streaming down from satellites.  These things save us time and make our lives so much easier.

But at the same time, our lives have never been more complicated.  We never have enough time for basic requirements of human health and happiness like exercise, friendships, leisure, or lifelong learning.  Our lives are just a whirlwind of endless to-do’s as we go to bed exhausted and wake up tired each day.

And we constantly say, “we just don’t have the time.”

In similar ways, Wall Street, central banking, and investing has never been more complicated.  Forget the challenge of teaching our parents to use a computer to check an online account, the future is going to be block-chain cryptocurrencies and facial recognition tracking our financial affairs.

And I expect that most people will still say, “I just don’t have the time” to execute on the fundamentals of success in life.

As we approach the peak of yet another financial bubble, our third instance in less than 20 years, it’s important to focus on fundamentals and the very basics of success.  It has never been more important to have core principles to guide you during this phase of market madness and beyond.

It’s also a good time to consider simplifying your life and eliminating much of the noise.

Additional Resources To Help You

I want to remind you of some additional resources that are available should you have an interest.

One of the advantages I have as a financial advisor is the opportunity to peek behind the curtains of U.S. households and see what is happening in real life.  I get to see what is working, what isn’t working, what people are struggling with, and note some of the best practices based on real life situations.

For instance, I can tell you that one of the biggest mistakes I see my wealthy clients make is ignoring or abusing their own health and fitness while they pursue financial success.  There is no doubt that financial success takes time, hard work, commitment and often an abundance of stress.  But making the ultimate trade-off of more money at the expense of your own health has horrible consequences that ultimately do catch up to people.

In addition, one of the largest expenses within households nowadays relate to the cost of healthcare.  Keeping healthcare costs low and our overall health high is a mandatory requirement for future wealth accumulation and maintenance.  It does us no good to work all those hours and make all those sacrifices to save and accumulate the money only to have to spend it on healthcare.  At that point, it often is too late and the damage is already done.

You can find examples of articles that are written to help and inspire you on my blog.  An example could be found here – https://paulkindzia.com/there-has-never-been-a-better-time-than-now-to-simplify-your-health-and-finances/

I have my own passions and attractions to certain topics which include many of the following on my website/blog;

  • Personal finance
  • Investments and valuations
  • Debt
  • Macro economics
  • Health and fitness
  • Relationships
  • Time management

Even though we are all crunched for time, we need to execute on the fundamentals and principles of success each and every day especially in regard to our health and finances.

Good habits lead to good behaviors.  Good behaviors lead to good decisions.  Good decisions lead to a good life.  Live by principles and choose wisely.
