There are so many individuals holding themselves out as “leaders” or “success” prophets. The internet is loaded with people trying to sell you the secret sauce to glory.
I often find it unsettling that many of these individuals are unhealthy individuals. They often are overweight, stressed out, out of shape, use stimulants, and other harmful substances to keep up their “high energy” persona.
It’s hard being happy when you don’t have your health. It’s hard to be happy when you know you are out of shape, out of energy, lethargic, eat poorly, have headaches, can’t get out of bed in the morning, little muscular strength, and an inability to bend over to tie your own shoes.
But that doesn’t stop some from proclaiming their power and success to the rest of the world in bold fashion.
If you really want to help others. If you really want to be a leader or a personal success story, start with your own health. You can’t help yourself or anyone else if you don’t have good health.
So beware the false prophets who proclaim to be “success” experts when it is quite clear that they don’t even have the ability to take care of themselves in a disciplined manner. You don’t have to know their exact cholesterol levels, blood pressure, or the number of pharmaceutical drugs they consume on a daily basis. But one good glance up and down for a look over should give you a head start on what the real deal is under the $1,000 custom suit.
